Founded
in 1986, AIDS Project Quad Cities is a non-profit AIDS Service
Organization that provides support to persons living with HIV/AIDS
as well as their families and friends in Iowa and Illinois.
Our mission, APQC will enhance the
quality of life in our communities and reduce health disparities
by providing a full spectrum of services including advocacy,
care, testing, education, counseling, referrals and other health
care services for individuals who are living with, affected by,
or at risk of contracting HIV/STI/AIDS
APQC's goals are:

To provide prevention services to those at risk of contracting
HIV/STI/AIDS.

To provide educational messages concerning HIV/STI/AIDS that are
culturally competent and sensitive.

To provide a full spectrum of HIV/STI/AIDS services for all.

To advocate for equality in the provision of health care
services on behalf of those living with and affected by
HIV/STI/AIDS.

To work collaboratively with federal, state and other community
based agencies.

To empower those we serve.
Case Management
Case
management offers professional support in managing HIV/AIDS to
ensure quality and comprehensive care. This is accomplished
by providing and /or accessing community services to maximize
health, reduce stress, and improve the overall quality of life
of APQC clients.

free and confidential.
If
you think you have been exposed to HIV, get tested. HIV
testing does not require a blood draw, and many facilities offer
free testing. Testing locations are available by calling
