an
asset to the community....
Founded
in 1986, AIDS Project Quad Cities is a non-profit AIDS Service
Organization that provides support to persons living with HIV/AIDS
as well as their families and friends in Iowa and Illinois.
Our mission, AIDS Project Quad Cities will enhance the quality
of life in our community by providing advocacy and care for those
living with HIV/AIDS and education for those at risk. Its
two primary goals are:
1)
The provision of case management services to persons who are infected
with HIV/AIDS.
2) The
offering of a variety of prevention/education programs throughout
the community to reduce the spread of HIV.
Case Management
Case
management offers professional support in managing HIV/AIDS to
ensure quality and comprehensive care. This is accomplished
by providing and /or accessing community services to maximize
health, reduce stress, and improve the overall quality of life
of APQC clients.
