Project Chocolate

A Second Year of Sweet Culinary Creations!

The Second Annual Project Chocolate was quite a success. In 2011 we added a wine tasting to create Project Chocolate...With a Splash of Wine! This fundraising event was designed specifically for awareness and support for the HIV Positive Mothers and Children living in the Quad City area.

At this amazing event, guests sampled scrumptious chocolate creations from Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois' finest restaurants, caterers, and chocolatiers. The chocolate vendors competed for top honors in several categories as judged by local celebrities. Other components of the evening include live entertainment by Whoozdads, a raffle, and a silent auction.

With changes and cuts in the State of Illinois HIV Budget, and lack of funding from the State of Iowa, Project Chocolate helped to raise substantial funds and awareness for HIV Positive Mothers and Children.
