Feed-the-Need!

The TPQC Food Pantry

The Project of the Quad Cities started the Feed-the-Need (FTN) food pantry in May 2009 and it continues to be a valuable part of our mission. TPQC is dedicated to helping provide appropriate nutritional food items for our clients living within the Quad Cities community. Therefore, FTN is utilized as a vehicle to help meet those nutritional needs.

On a weekly basis, we provide canned fruit, vegetables, grains, and many other non-perishable items. Once every few months clients also have access to sundry items (e.g., toilet paper, cleaning products, detergent, and etc.).

The items within the food pantry are chosen with the help of various professional resources knowledgeable about HIV/AIDS nutritional issues.

In the near future, we hope to eventually make our food pantry services available to the wider community in order to further address health disparities and broaden our referral network.

How can you help?

Feed-The-Need always accepts donations of canned goods, non-perishable items and sundry items. We also need Sale Watchers. To become a TPQC sale watcher just contact the office with the item, location, and price of the in-store sale specials of any local store. Please call (309) 762-5433 or you can click to email.

FTN is funded by individual contributors and state of Illinois and Iowa Ryan White monies.
