Outreach & Education

While The Project of the Quad Cities works to improve the quality of life of people living with HIV/AIDS, the organization is also focused on preventing the incidence of new HIV infections. TPQC provides presentations to area students, youth and adults, in secondary schools, colleges, universities, agencies, churches, and other venues.

The Project of the Quad Cities employs full-time prevention staff that work exclusively with individuals who are at high risk of becoming infected.

In an effort to provide a full range of services, support, and prevention programming, The Project of the Quad Cities works collaboratively with Community Health Care Regional Virology Center, community mental health centers, health departments, Center for Drug and Alcohol, DeLeCerda House, and home health care organizations.
